The Collaborative Research Hub for Multidisciplinary Advancement (CRHMA) is a strategic initiative of the University of Zambia designed to fostering multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research collaborations across various Schools and Units and Department. CRHMA serves as the research coordinating arm of the University for Multidisciplinary Advancement, providing a platform for researchers to co-design and implement multidisciplinary research that addresses national, regional, and global challenges.
CRHMA is responsible for:
- Fostering multidisciplinary research collaborations across various University departments;
- Building and nurturing partnerships with industry, government agencies, and other academic institutions;
- Providing university-wide support for the establishment and operationalization of multidisciplinary research entities across schools and units;
Objectives
CRHMA’s objectives are to:
- Enhance the University's research environment and promote excellence in research;
- Foster collaborative research across disciplines and departments;
- Build strategic partnerships with local and international stakeholders;
- Promote the University's research outputs and enhance its research profile;
- Initiate and support resource mobilization to support specialized, and multidisciplinary research.
