James S. Mukombwe is an agriculture and food security professional with a strong focus on research in food security and social development. He currently works as a lecturer, consultant, and researcher at the University of Zambia in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension. James holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Pretoria and a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Extension from the University of Zambia. With nearly ten years of working in the industry within in the agriculture sector, he has managed various projects, including seed multiplication initiatives and the Scaling Up Nutrition First 1000 Most Critical Days projects, contributing significantly to rural development, food security and nutrition in Zambia.
