Part I: Course Work

The requirements of the MMinSc (Geology) by course work:

First Year
The student will register in two compulsory courses, i.e., GG
6011 and GG 6012; one in each semester respectively. To have a complete load of four-course units per semester, the student will be required to register for three other courses in each semester as shown. The choice of such courses will depend on the advice of the supervisor and the research direction of the dissertation. The student’s thesis topic will have to be approved by the department before admission.

Second Year

The second year will consist of thesis work, accompanying field work and data processing, so that it can be completed by the end of the academic year.
