The applicant must possess:
Bachelor’s degree from the University of Zambia or any recognized institution with major in English language or linguistics & African languages; or French language.
Minimum of credit of at least 15 points or upper second division or its equivalent;
Must have done theoretical linguistics either in Syntax, Phonology, Morphology, or Functional Grammar or any equivalent courses.
