A candidate who holds a bachelor’s degree is eligible for admission to the programme leading to the Postgraduate Diploma in International Law. In exceptional circumstances, a person having relevant experience in international affairs and qualifications deemed suitable by the School may be admitted to the programme. The programme is offered to full-time students only. The programme lasts for one academic year and consists of taught course work, written assignments, and a final written examination. The course work covers, inter alia:
- The general principles of international law;
- Rules regarding war and neutrality;
- Laws of universal and regional organisations; and
- Law of diplomacy
