The University of Zambia is pleased to announce the appointment of the Board of Directors to the Alumni Relations and Advancement (ARA).
The University of Zambia ARA Directorate was officially launched by the President of the Republic of Zambia His Excellency Edgar Chagwa Lungu on 30 June 2016. The launch coincided with the jubilee celebrations to mark 50 years of the University of Zambia’s operational existenceunderpinned by service and excellence.
The University of Zambia believes that a strong Alumni Relations programme side by side a strong institutional advancement agenda will build relationships with University partners who are not limited to the alumni with a sole focus on increasing support to the institution towards infrastructure development, research and scholarship.
UNZA Vice Chancellor Prof Luke Mumba said, ‘Our vision is that the Alumni Relations and Advancement operation will grow to play a very significant role in the successful implementation of our strategic plan’.
